Nourishment

Caring for and nourishing others

Caring is your reflex. You feed people, check on them, carry the extra weight before anyone asks, and your challenge was never generosity. It's aim.

01 The reading

Someone's sick and you've already made soup. This energy is the caretaking muscle of the world: real, warm, and quick off the mark. Communities survive on people wired like this, and the ones you tend genuinely do better.

The aim problem shows up two ways. Care poured into people who won't use it drains you without helping them, and care that does everything for someone can quietly teach them helplessness. The sharpest version of this gift strengthens people; it doesn't just service them.

And the classic blind spot: your own name missing from the care list. Depleted caretakers give a thinner version of everything, so rest, food, and support for you are not indulgences, they're the supply chain. Fill the pot you're ladling from.

02 Polarity

The low
expression

Compulsive caretaking: feeding everyone to feel needed, fostering dependence, and running on an empty pot.

The high
expression

Nourishment that lands. Aimed well and self-inclusive, your care visibly strengthens every person and project it touches.

03 When it visits by transit

Under this transit the urge to tend and feed is temporarily stronger. Borrow it for someone who can genuinely use the support, and let your own plate count too.

04 A question to sit with

Does your care make the people you love stronger, and are you anywhere on your own list?
