Ideas ↔ Stimulation

Ideas visit you constantly, and your favorite thing to do with one is tell it. You collect concepts, and your stories hand other people new ways of seeing.

01 The reading

Your mind is a gallery, not a factory: ideas arrive, get arranged, and are displayed through story, and the display is the contribution. A dinner with you rearranges how people think about something, not because you argued, but because the anecdote did the arguing on its own.

The liberating catch is that your ideas aren't personal instructions. An idea about quitting jobs to sail the world is a wonderful idea; it isn't necessarily your itinerary. Treating the stream as stimulation to share, rather than a to-do list to obey, keeps the gallery delightful instead of exhausting.

02 Defined and bridged

When you
hold both

A consistent stream from idea to story. You think out loud in narratives, and your best teaching sounds like entertainment.

When it is
bridged

One side supplies the stream of ideas, the other the storytelling voice. Bridged, stray thoughts become stories that travel.

03 When it visits by transit

The idea-to-story pipeline is temporarily active. Concepts may beg to be shared; enjoy the borrowed eloquence, and remember the ideas are for telling, not marching orders.

04 A question to sit with

Which idea delighted you recently, purely as an idea?
